Patrick Stockbridge is a Musical Director, Composer and Pianist based in London and has performed with an eclectic mix of ensembles; from musical theatre, opera and cabaret singers, to comedy improvisation troupes and circus acts.
Recent credits include Normality (The Other Palace), Blood Brothers (UK Tour), the Pet Shop Boys’ Closer to Heaven (Union Theatre) and Die Fledermaus (Opera Up Close). He has worked with actors Dove Cameron, Frances Barber and James Cosmo whilst recording and filming for Trisha Ward's TV series, Two Wolves, as well as a whole host of other talented performers. Patrick is pianist for comedian Marcel Lucont, performing this year at the Edinburgh Fringe, Henley and Latitude Festivals.
Patrick has composed the music for a number of shows for young audiences with Librettist/Director Helen Eastman including: The Nutcracker (Reading Rep), The Greater Game (Elgar Room, Royal Albert Hall) and Alby: The Penguin Who Saved Christmas (Oxford Playhouse). He has also written and produced musical comedy shows; January: The Musical Revue (Crazy Coqs) and Ed Fringe: The Musical Revue (Edinburgh Fringe) to critical acclaim, as well as working on commissions for instrumental and vocal pieces.
As an animateur and workshop leader, Patrick has created original music and led singing sessions at; mainstream and SEN schools, drama schools, offices, residential care homes and in prisons, through fantastic companies including: Armonico Consort, Ark Music, Hackney Musical Development Trust, Liberty Choir and Turtle Key Arts. These outreach programmes have led to Patrick composing, arranging and performing in concerts at Symphony Hall Birmingham, The Barbican Centre and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as many local community events.
