Gap Year is a fun and fast musical in two acts and suitable for a cast of anywhere between 6 (absolute minimum) to 30.

Gap Year is a coming of age story of Tom, who has recently finished school and doesn't know what to do with his life, but on the request of his adventuring Grandfather he goes to find himself by travelling and seeing the world. Tom flies to Australia on the rather dodgy Exotic Air and meets a host of colourful characters who teach him a thing or two about Backpacking and about himself, including the mysterious and infamous Gap Year 'Oracle'! 

 

Written with award-winning composer/lyricist Tim Gilvin with a book by Dan John, Gap Year was premiered with a short UK tour in 2012 before being revised for license at the University of Portsmouth in December 2015.
